Are you tired of substandard climb rates to cruising altitudes between 12,000 and 16,000 feet with cruise speeds between 200 and 215 knots? You will be amazed at how quickly the Power 90 climbs to its much higher cruising altitude.

The Power 90 is an FAA approved King Air 90, A90, B90, C90, C90A*, C90B*, and soon to be E90* conversion from the original Pratt and Whitney 550 shp engine to the more powerful 751 shp Walter M601E-11A . (*When conformed)

This basic Power 90 conversion includes two factory remanufactured Walter M601E-11A engines and two factory remanufactured super quiet Avia Hamilton V-510 five blade propellers. New engines and new Avia V-510 Propellers are available as an upgrade.

With our conversion you will climb to higher flight levels in much less time and cruise at greater true airspeeds. That adds up to more miles covered per hour and puts you above the weather on far more trips.

The Power 90 is capable of routine flights between FL200 and FL250 and will climb impressively to those flight levels in as little as 11 minutes.

As a result of new aerodynamic performance enhancements, LoneStar company test flight results have produced repeated cruise speeds in excess of 250 KTAS (290 mph) and matching GPS verified speeds.

Single engine safety margin is dramatically improved over the original Pratt engines. Company flight tests have verified single engine service ceiling in excess of 25,000 ft.

Single engine climb rates of 300 fpm have been demonstrated in test flights at 22,000 feet.

More than adequate remaining reserve power is available for emergency operations due to the loss of an engine.

Full 550 shp is available up to approximately 17,000 feet depending upon OAT.

Typical fuel burn for a 4.5 hour trip including climb to altitude averages approximately 72 to 74 gph.
